    Heya! Been a while since I posted a thread! I searched around a bit for this, even consulted with some BBM buddies and they didn't know either.

    I deleted the Facebook app, restarted, and the icon was just moved to my home menu. I did a battery pull and got no results. It is no longer listed in the applications list, but again, the icon is there.

    PS: the icon doesn't work if I click on it.

    I believe from what I have heard is that it is pushed through service books
    I think you just have to hide it

    Correct. Deleting it won't do any good, since it will just get reinstalled the next time you reset your berry.
