First time that it hung there on the notification bar I did a battery pull and fixed it. Well this time I have done a battery pull and a reset and the icon is still there. I have upgraded the app that it said to upgrade. Any suggestions?

There is a notification in your message folder. Delete it to remove icon.

Thanks! That was driving me nuts too! I didn't realize there was a message in there at first cause I hide my "messages" icon.

I even tried reinstalling BBW and the icon still came back lol. This is a relief!

The update is complete, my BB has rebooted, and I have no messages in my message folder. Anyone have any ideas how I can get rid of this thing?

sorry about that, i just read through the million other posts relating to this. a second reboot of the bb works like a charm

Yep. It was in the messages folder in my aps folder. I keep forgetting that folder. I put it somwhere where it will stand out more. Thanks for the help guys.
