- I have entered contact information in the 'message on lock screen' with name, landline phone number and 'Reward for Return.
I use Advanced Device Locks as opposed to BB lockdown as it doesn't time out during the day, and I can give additional password protection to specific apps within. However, when rebooting the device, the screen comes up, but is blocked by a message to the effect, 'verifying SIM card', and then it is gone. Is there any way to get that message to stay on the screen in the event I lose my BB? I would love to use one of the remote protection applications, but none of them seem to work if you are using BES service.
Any advice or suggestions appreciated, perhaps I need to use another locking program that doesn't time out as well, I can't keep re-entering the password every hour or two, pita.
Thanks, and happy Turkey Day to all fellow Crackberry members (Canadian Thanksgiving not tomorrow, but best wishes to you folks regardless!!)11-23-11 08:46 AMLike 0
