I just got a Curge 3G (upgraded 8330) - and when I download an app the only way for me to open it is through App World. A shortcut to the app is nowhere to be found. Am I missing something?

Also...how do I activate standby or keylock mode on this thing...? Thanks.

I never knew you could launch your apps through app world until now. You don't have a "downloads" or "applications" folder anywhere?

Yes I do have both of those. But my apps aren't in them - the only way for me to open my apps is if I go to the "My World" part of App World.

I've tried "Show-All" and looked everywhere.

Hit your BB menu key twice and scroll down and open up "options". What is listed under "Download Folder"?

Did you ever do a battery pull after installing? Most apps require this to function correctly.
