Hello!

I haven't found a thread like this, so let me ask you a question in a new thread.

My app memory is really full and I've already removed all I could (3/4 is taken by OS), at the same time I have lots of apps from my carrier that I don't need and I'd never use (like SFR anti-spam, SFR-TV, SFR jeux, SFR wifi, iCoyote for SFR, etc.). I looked everywhere to delete them, but I just don't find any possibility (I've been to 1)AppWorld --> SFR, no possibility to delete; 2)Options-->terminal-->applications, they don't even appear there, seems like I can delete anything, even the BBM, but not these apps; 3) BB desktop --> applications; same, I can delete whatever, but these apps do not even appear). I don't even find them in modules...hmmm

Does anybady has any other idea of how I could get rid of them?

Usually, those are just launchers to get to where you need to be to download. In the past you could only hide them. If you deleted them, they would reappear at reboot. They take up very little memory. You would need to delete other apps.

Thank you! Seems like you're right (they were true apps once, but I deleted them and since they re-appeared I didn't bother to check whether they are launchers or real apps).

Have you tried shrinking your OS... I shrunk mine down from 200 and odd mb to 76mb. Shrunk out all the apps I didnt want, though carrier apps are always installed and I just hide them. There are several programs which allow you to shrink the OS on the phone. BBHTools is one. I curently have 200mb app memory free and have 12 apps installed

I've never heard of it before. It's interesting. Can it be dangerous for the phone?

Lots of people do it. I never have and haven't had any issues.I have currently 25 apps and still have 1,600,007,874 bytes left. and haven't rebooted in a few days. I think you do have to be careful as you could lose information. So back up before trying it.
