I tried posting in the pearl flip forum, but got no replies.

can someone please upload cod files for blackberry news app?
it won't let me install due to location. I tried using a proxy via PC but it requires my radio on, and then it finds my location and says no.
maybe even a jad would work...

or if you can recommend a different rss reader with notifications that would work on the pearl flip.

will appreciate any reply.

no, it works with 4.6 and higher.
if I check the devices it works with before I login to appworld (via web), the pearl 8220 is on the list.

also the error I get is not "unavailable for you device", it's "unavailable for your location".

I did, the OS 5.0 and above didn't download or install. it's an older version (1.0.1.9 while current is 1.2.0.6) so not sure what's the problem there.
