While there is always the free BBweather, BBsync reminded me about another free application called WeatherEye to get your weather fix. The application is free but the downside is that it is ad supported so there will be cute little ads on the bottom of your weather.
The cool feature is that it changes the icon on your homescreen based on the current forecast. Pretty nifty! Personally I still recommend BBweather but WeatherEye is worth a mention. For some reason the short term forecast does not work only the long term. Also the long term forecast only lets you see 5 days unlike BBweather which lets you see up to 10. You can pick up WeatherEye free OTA at this link.
I grabbed that one up a couple of days ago and I love the desktop icon. Hover over it and it shows current temp. Still like the ten day forecast of BB though, as stated above.

i've had this for a few days and have had no problem with the short-term forecast, not sure what the issue would be, it has worked since I got it. Love it, great program! Have always used the desktop computer version, this is great for being away from the Mac
I tried downloading BBweather from the link above, but can't get it to work. something about not having a weather profile...is this app still functional for BB?
Hi,
Spokane, WA here no short term forcast. Long term forcast works. No sunrise sunset times you guys know how to fix that? Love the icon that changes with the weather. Spokane in the spring we have a saying...don't like the weather wait ten minutes! So my icon is always changing. LOL! I like the icon so I can live without the short term forcast or the sunrise-set time. I subscribe to the weather channel weather alerts so between the two I am good. Have not tried the others though. Curious about BB weather not sure if I should have two running at once. Anyone try that?
