There seems to be an Error 500. Don't know why though.

Same for me. Yes, it should be available in App World before BB10. BBM is changing, and I believe they are updating across the board for compatabilty. I'm sure they want a fluid BBM experience between new and older handsets.

As it's 500, the server doesn't know either

Finally got past the server error, and downloaded successfully. Key Code required "menu>paste" to paste (didn't get paste or any other menu option when pushing trackpad), and installed/activated fine.

And it auto added the comment "Let's talk with BBM Voice Download BBM 7.0 http://Blackberry.com/BBM" below my name. Not too sure how I feel about that. Admittedly, it's easy to remove and I understand why they want to publicise the new features of BBM, but wouldn't it be more effective to tell folks who DON'T already have BBM? It just reminds me of freeware with built in ads.

After a morning of 500 errors, sending the link from my PlayBook or going directly from the phone, I get:

Sorry, you are unable to download this file due to export regulations. Please contact betainfo@rim.com if you have any questions.

For those that haven't checked the beta zone discussion regarding the "export" issue, someone from RIM finally posted that they are aware and looking into the issue.

Since it seems like its going to take a while before this is fixed, a work around:For those having the "Export Restrictions" Problem...Use this link to download
BlackBerry Messenger 7.0.0.130 (Beta) - AppKita - BlackBerry Ota - BlackBerry AppWorld
Then use a keycode from any previous BBM7 beta version

I've got that from the beta zone site

No need for workaround- app loaded correctly without 505 error or location restriction right from the Beta Zone. As of 2PM anyways...

Had to delete it. It's been using up to 40 megabytes or memory on my Bold 9900, which slowed down my phone like ****!
