I just now received the BBID Software update too. I think it allows me now to pay for apps through my cell carrier as before it would charge my credit card with a PayPal option. I've tried before to pay for apps using the carrier option, it seems now I can. In all the years I've hab BB I've never had that icon appear before. It also came through messages notification and not AppWorld.

I had it last week after running App World. Doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary after I updated.

Blackberry ID needs to be updated to support some of the feature included in the newest AppWorld, etc. Not updating may allow AppWorld to work, but without the newer features being usable. Which means that updating to 4.0.0.55 and 4.0.0.63 is a waste of time if you don't update Blackberry ID, too.

From some comments in another thread, it appears that you may not be able to buy anything in the newest AppWorld if you don't update your Blackberry ID.
