Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BB App World.
Firstly what does this mean? And what how do i remedy this?

This means that you live in an unsupported country. App world is not available in your Country.

You can however get it from here > http://forums.crackberry.com/f35/app...ntries-511548/

I'm not sure if the 8520 has GPS!!

I live in England. Is England an unsupported Country? Do you think ive configured the Set Up in correctly? I followed the link above and it seems complicated.

Open your Browser>Click Menu (BB Button)>Options, scroll down and make sure your Browser Identification is set to BlackBerry, (on some OSes, this is called Emulation), Escape (back arrow), and save.

App World may see your browser as something else, and that's usually the reason for the 'Not Supported' message in a supported country, and the UK is supported.

Do you have a BlackBerry data plan (BIS)? If you do not, you will not be able to use App World.

Old AppWorld would only allow a few countried to buy apps, but it would work pretty much everywhere (provided state's gov didn't deem BB a threat and block service).

New AppWorld allows everybody to buy apps now, should you have either a credit card or a paypal account. Which is great, now I can not buy apps buy choise and not imposition.

I happen to like AppWorld. Even more now that I am allowed to buy stuff there. Even way more now that BlackBerry ID will make it easy to move apps when I get a new phone. ^^

Ok guys so i finally got my App World icon to appear and work with wifi ! all you have to do is

    - google "bb app world 2.0 download" via the phone browser

    - When you press download it should replace the older app world that didn't appear or did not work with wifi .

-Make sure and set application permissions and then press download

    - IF all goes well it should download , install and appear under the home screen with the ability to work with wireless.
