Do you actually need App world? couldnt i just have the site email the link if i wanted something from app world. do i actually have to have it on my device?

Technically you don't need anything but water and food.

But if you don't want appworld, you can download from the crackberry shop or you can download from the blackberry appworld website. How could you have them email you something that you want from appworld? How would they know what you want?

They email you the link, and you have to open it in App World dumb huh?
I bookmarked the install site, and I just install app world if I have to use it for something; usually I just use the crackberry app store.

when you dl apps from app world web site they email you the link to dl the app.

The best thing about App World is that it keeps track of your apps for you. You can check for updates, and go right to your downloads to re-download an app.
