Most of the time one my phone I have a blackberry logo to indicate I have internet access through the BIS or BES servers

This logo disappears and I lose service for long periods, seems to happen when I use certain apps (MLB at bat and BETFAIR)


Does anyone else lose this service for long periods? Anyone know how to fix this?
