    The software in the bold that processes the pictures I think is too aggressive. Meaning it compresses the pictures too much. This leads to the highly pixelized pics and movies.

    I understand in low lighting that not much can help a tiny sensor and poor lens.

    Others have made the same observation about jpg artifacts and such. I also notice that the file sizes of the 2mb pictures are about 1/3 to 1/2 the size of my old 2mb fuji camera.

    Is there a 3rd party app that doesn't compress the pics/movies so much? Something that will be similar to the "raw" mode found on many digital cameras?
