I was hoping to get some feedback on an application I just finished the first release. The app is for the Blackberry Storm, Bold and 8900 Curve. Anything really that runs 4.6+.
The app lets you write your legislators through your blackberry, vote on the bills they are voting on (updates your legislators with your votes) and keeps track over time how often your legislators are voting for or against you.
If you feel nice enough to give me some feedback the 4.6+ code for the Storm, Bold and Curve is below.
Point YOUR BLACKBERRY BROWSER TO these and make sure the Browser is set to Blackberry as the default.
Also if you have a Facebook account you can synchronize it to our version of Visible Vote on Facebook. Please let me know how this works for you by going to the link below, adding the app, and going to Settings. Please remember the password you created on your Blackberry to sync it.
Hmm, I can't get past the first screen prompting me for my email, password, etc. I hit submit and get an error that "Could not talk to network. Try again with better signal" or something like that. My reception is fine.
I'm using a 9530 with .113. I edited all permissions to allow, and try both with and without compatibility mode.

Hmmm yea the only reason that should occur is if you cant reach the login pages... Ill run a test with my blackberry to see if it can create a new account.

The error you are getting is because I the app cant connect to the HTTP server. Do you have this blackberry setup with Enterprise server? I'm wondering if its because I use MDS instead of TCP to connect to the server.
For some reason it works fine on my devices but all of them have Enterprise Activation setup and Im on Verizon.
Nope, not Enterprise here. BIS on the Storm, strictly for pleasure!
Yeap I think thats the problem... For some stupid reason I enforced my code to only use MDS which i believe is enterprise server. Ill change and reupload code. Then Ill let you know when its updated. Thanks again for the feedback!
Wow thank you for all the support... Im sure Ill work out the bugs this weekend. Ill let you all know when its up and running. Sorry about the delay, didnt think I had to write code for each of the 5 ways Blackberry talks to the internet :-)
I think I found and resolved the issue... I have only tested this on the Storm. So if someone can tell me if it works on the Bold or 8900 Curve I would really appreciate it! :-)
