    Hello,
I'm working on an epic update for an app that I already have on the BlackBerry app world.

However, this app will only work on BlackBerry os versions 7, so I can't test it properly on the old curve that I already have.

The task is super simple. It's really just installing the app and telling me if you like it, and if something works or not, and maybe take a screenshot or 2

Once we're finished, Ill send you $10 in your paypal account for your efforts, + you get a $2.99 app for free

    Thanks.
And please, this is really important for me

    Update:
Thank you so much for all the interest.
For the moment, I have all the testers I need. I'm going to do some work on the app from the feedback I've received and maybe look for more beta testers for a final test once the app is ready to be launched and published.
And btw, If I sent you a link to the app and you haven't replied to me yet, I'm still waiting for your feedback

That's a generous offer, but why don't you just test it yourself on the simulator?

And any clue to what the app actually is/does?

I cant test it on the simulator because the app uses the device's accelerometer, which is hard to test with just the simulator

I didn't want to mention the name of the app, because I didn't want this page to appear on google, but if you must know, you can check out the current app on the BB world.
Buy Advanced Ruler for BlackBerry - Download Advanced Ruler for BlackBerry - Buy Apps from BlackBerry App World

And the epic update I was talking about is camera integration. That's right, with this update, on top of the standard ruler, you'll be able to use the device's camera to measure distances, if you have os version 7.

So I basically just need someone to tell me whether or not the distance being returned is accurate

WOW!, I'm so glad I came here. I spent the whole week looking for friends who has the new BlackBerry, with no luck, and wandering whether or not it's worth spending $500 on a new BlackBerry just to test an app for like 5 minutes.

    Thanks A lot guys.
If you still want to try out the app, just send me a pm and ill give you the app for free, but no more $10..

And guys, when you're taking the measurements, you should point the camera at the base of the object, and it should return the distance between the object, and you (at least ideally). Also make sure you hold the device at the same height that you mentioned in the setup menu.

And also, the angle that's on the top right is ideally the angle that the blackberry is being tilted at.
