i was using bb alerts and liked it. i tried Aerize(sp) but it kept sending me a fake sms all the time with my own number.

what are some other good ones? how is peekawho?

the thing i like about bbalerts is you can customize the status light

I didn't like PeeKaWho. The popups were small and ugly. Yeah, I'm shallow.

I am using BB alerts right now, the trial version. My questions is, are there more options when you download the full version? I do not see where you can change the status light.

if you hit the BB and go to options it is there... i cant tell you exactly cuz i got a new phone and im not installing the app again

on bbalerts...there is an option to assign colors...and you also have to go to options to tell it which type of messages you want it to work with...hope this helps.
