which app is better Loopt or Google Maps Latitude? My friend and I need an app that will not drain that battery if left active and will update our locations ever 10-15mins or so. It also needs to be pretty accurate incase we need to go to each other. Loopt seems to be more direct and easy to use as google requires google maps and more steps to activate/turn on and off
Any app that constantly uses your gps is going to drain your battery. That being said... I prefer Google Lattitude myself since I will always have google maps installed on my device. I played with Loopt for a bit, but took it off in favor of keep resources open on my device.
