I can't find good settings to fit all the info on the main screen (home screen) for beweather. It all gets cutoff. Anyone have some good settings for mainscreen and possibly some decent backgrounds other than black lol

It's really just a case of playing about with the settings until you're happy with them.

After reading your post, I had a play and came up with this...

Cheers ML. I don't usually use a BW wallpaper as I think it looks too busy.

BW normally just sits in my icon try, like this...

The 99+ one is the current battery level (MeterBerry)

...and the 6 one is the current outside temperature (BerryWeather)

    That's debatable ML...

I thought it was worth it on my 9700, because many of the themes I used didn't have a visible battery meter on the home screen. So I used the MB notification icon option to show it instead. It's also very handy to keep an eye on battery temperature, discharge rate, time remaining, application and media card memory, memory change etc. You can also use it to reboot your device daily at a preset time.

To be honest though, with the 9780 having pretty good battery management and plenty of memory, it's not really worth purchasing anymore.

It's more of a gimmic than a benefit now

Thank you for your honest and detailed opinion man.

I just bought it as it isn't expensive and I like the icon that tells you the exact battery life on the screen.

    Thanks Phill

    Cheers

The 99+ is also an app that show the percentage of your battery. The app is called BatteryEx.. There is a free version as well as a paid version. There are plenty of skins available as well.

This option is only available in the full paid version of BerryWeather, and it's a COMPLETELY different setting and app from ML's above

    1) Open BerryWeather
    2) Press the Menu button and scroll down to Settings
    3) Scroll to Homescreen/Notificatiion Icon
    4) Scroll to Notification Icon and check the box for Show Temperature Icon In Notification Area
    5) Press the Escape key and save your settings
    6) Sorted

    Yea WTF ML...totally wrong application.

    NVM, phil got it.

    banner icon = paid version...

the meterberry icon gives you temp of battery, not the air around you.
