Recently my BerryWeather app has decided its not a good idea to update. Not just the GPS location but any of my other specific locations. I edited permissions to allow all and still nothing....Ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem and I have uninstalled and re-installed several times.

lame! i just realized it COULD have been that i'm running the .148/.151 transitions hybrid but assuming that you're running on the official .148 OS then that can't be the case

Yeah I'm actually on the Beta of .148 but .148 is all the same.

.148/.151 hybrids aren't the problem (I'm currently running BBCM v 7.1.3 ).

I had this issue this morning.... deleted BW and reinstalled, updated and ran like normal.

I have a BOLD(5.0.0.100) and having the same issues. I removed my location(which will delete you personal radar maps), closed/reopened and it updated my location. I stopped exiting the app(getting the white umbrella until the next weather update) and close it.

Mines been updating fine (148 os).

Maybe a regional issue accessing the forecasts?

I drove from Philly to Syracuse and it kept right up with me.

I downloaded the latest version at lunch, and it's been updating perfectly ever since.

I am still having issues.

Tried different location options, reinstalling application , battery pulls , removing locations , etc etc

uninstalled reinstalled then woeked fine for a day. now its back to not working

oddly enough mine started working as soon as i left work yesterday. not sure if the building would be blocking the signal or something. The app has worked fine in there every other day and the bb maps works just fine.

perhaps just a coincidence?

I fixed all of my location update issues by deleting and reloading the
locations... added radar maps to all of them too.

There's no updating via GPS with BerryWeather. It doesn't matter if I'm indoors or out. It never updates. I'll go back to WeatherBug - at least it works.

i randomly decided to wipe my device and reload and its been working fine since. its not the best option, but it works

How about having it update too frequently? I've got the interval set at an hour but for the last two days my battery drain has been markedly greater with very little use of the phone. I'm going to try setting it to Update Never and see what happens.
