Correct me if I'm wrong but, i thought the reason why this thread originated was to provide a source of BW icons. Not pages and pages of screen shots including captures of things that aren't available. I have no problem with custom sets, i find issue with people who are unwilling to provide further information about those "custom" icons (e.g. where they can find the icons and make it themselves or if they can have one similar created). Therefore i dont know why someone would post a screen shot of icons no one can have access to or obtain information about, in a thread that is supposed to be about sharing. If you want to post screen shots of things that aren't available shouldn't that be done in the regular screen threads?

It just seems like yet another "what does your screen (berryweather) look like" thread is redundant and many people have to scour this entire thread to find at least one set. I'm all about ease of access and thats what im trying to get at. I'm thinking of people who aren't regulars and see the title believing that they would be able to get a few sets here, only to find out its a clusterf**k of a thread.

Cami I would have to agree with you. I think going forward anyone that posts a screenshot of a BW set should also post a link as to where the set can be obtained.

Ah ok, those are probably the custom ones, as ba hamilton does awesome of posting the available ones on the themes in motion site.

Queen, this SS is a great example of what "I" get out of this thread. it had never crossed my mind tom put those two icons on top of the island and the margins in till i saw this.............. knew it could be done..........oh, bam. thanks, Blast. i feel like if i put all my SS in the "what does....." thread that alot of those people dont want to see nothing but Bw sets on my ONE theme, Morph, thanks, Russ. over there they want new themes, new walls and great combos. If i have a cool looking setup i might put there but by far less than what is posted here. I use Bw homescreen wallpaper option 95% and i think that should qualify to post here. Between Bellshare, TiM and the dropbox accts there should be no problem getting "public" sets and i know NOBODY who has ever refused a request for one. Especially Blast and Songbird who have taught and helped me through this entire process of learning the smallest things. i doesnt matter if its as little as posting a SS, thx Blast, or doing a custom set, thx Songbird. every request is answered and ever problem 10 people try to help. Love all ya'll! keep being creative! i cant wait to see whats next!

Its def gettin cluttered here w/ SS's most of these are also posted in the SS THREADS I think the only images that should be shared here are of the sets themeselves so people can see wat they look like. I'm always on my berry and it takes forever to get thru this thread to find a set I want so I gotta BBM someone for it and I hate buggin people

So you rather compromise the initial purpose of this thread just for an idea of where to place something? I'm just saying that maybe there should be an actual BW Icons thread since this turned into something else so people will actually be able to find exactly what they want/need. I know a LOT of people that are frustrated with the mere thought of trying to find a set in here lol. Its cluttered and isn't ideal for people who just wanna grab sets theyve seen other people screen shot in various places. But whatever, i'll stop taking other people into consideration.......

When I started this thread, I actually envisioned a large group of people furiously making BW sets LOL. But it was really just 2 1/2 people making the vast majority of the sets. I count myself as the "1/2" cause I didn't make all THAT many sets by myself. I merely passed icons and ideas to Songbird, who actually put the sets together. It was kind of a boring thread; days would go by without a single post because a new set hadn't been made.

At some point, people decided to post their screenies here, too. Which I thought was getting out of hand, with all the "coming soon" posts made by multiple people for the same BW set. And, which also prompted my comments from this past weekend. Whoever liked or disliked my comments, I don't really care. I just find it highly amusing that so many people are so passionate about a BW set that they'll forget about as soon as the next "cool set" is made....

Maybe I'm in the minority but I kinda like the way things have been. I enjoy seeing all the different set ups with BW, themes, BattEx, and wallpapers. The coming soon' alerts never bothered me. It just told me that someone is working on a new icon set. Pretty cool, that.

Back in the early day it was easy to find icon sets that had not been used. New sets were coming at us left and right. Now, not so much. Its harder for my small mind to be creative so I enjoy seeing what others come up with. Keep em coming.

If the links are posted on this thread I try to add them to the TIM site. I won't pull down sets from other peoples web site or blogs.

I love seeing all the screenshots too, ba. But the whole "sending sets to certain people before they're posted" thing was uselessly filling up the thread with almost countless "coming soon announcements". When really all they are is "Look at me, I'm in the club that gets sets early". When the set could have just as easily been posted. That's NOT the same thing as saying custom sets are bad. If someone has a custom set made by themselves or someone makes it for them, good for them! Maybe that will prompt more people to make their own custom sets.

For those of you who don't like the "purpose of the thread", its a THREAD, not a BLOG. That means its bound to change form and purpose. It's changed into what most people WANTED it to be. After all, they're the ones who changed it....
