I recently upgraded my 9700 to OS 6.0.0.448 and i have noticed that my emails preview no longer shows. My SMS messages still work fine but not any of my email accounts. Is this a known issue or can someone offer a little help in fixing it.

btw I checked and everything is "enabled" and I have also did a couple battery pulls.

I had this same problem on .448, as well as an issue with BerryMail not working...but once I updated to .450 everything works fine now, very happy!

That is what I was afraid of, I like the new OS but I don't know how long I can last without getting my previews. Is the .450 you are running an official or link? I may end up going back down to .380

I hesitated at first too, but after updating, I'm glad it did it. .450 is very solid, browser seems faster, and everything just works. There's a link for it in the Beta OS section. I also read that this may actually turn out to be AT&T's next official update.

    EDIT: My bad , I didn't even realize you had a 9700, not a 9800...I don't know if there's a .450 for the 9700...sorry about that!

In the meantime, if you're familiar with BBSAK try installing net_rim_bbapi_mailv2.cod from an older 9700 build.

I have used bbsak in the past but haven't ever tried to install a single componet like that. Would I need to remove anything or just add that componet? Seems fairly simple, I may give it a go later today. Not getting my previews is killing me

I deleted the first one before installing the older version, I'm not sure if it BBSAK has a COD overwrite option.

It should overwrite by default, you just install the .cod, the phone reboots, and you're done.

Hint: you might want to save the old one first incase something screws up.

Installing that cod file using bbsak that Zed mentioned above works. No issues for me since doing it about an hour ago.

This probably won't work for 9700 owners, but 9650 owners can download the cod from here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9610464/net_...api_mailv2.cod

Which COD should I use for my Torch? I save my CODs from the prior beta OS I had, would that one work?

I just looked through my COD backup folder from BBSAK and I do not see that file.

    Nevermind, found it.

Could someone post this .cod from a pre-.448 or .450 OS Torch build? I've never backed up .cod files before, so I don't have a previous version.

Nope, for the Torch then u need that file from OS .246 which is in a setup directory on windows. It will work.

I currently not near my pc so will uploading net_rim_bbapi_mailv2.cod from Torch OS .246 when I back the computer for anyone may need it.

Why should we be doing this work-around to fix the problem? Bellshare should fix it ... we paid for an app that doesn't work on an official OS.
