    Both these games have their positive and negative points.
    If you could meld the two together you would have a winning product.

    Here is my ten pence (cents - whatever)

    Benny Chow - Lovely game - bad collision
    Pros;
    - Uses the entire screen
    - sound when munching the pips
    - Nice and tough
    - early turn works (when chosing a direction before pacman gets to a junction)
    Cons;
    - Awful collision detection - collision boxes are TOO BIG, there is no escape at a corner. Chase and evade excitement is ruined.
    - PacMan should corner faster than the ghosts.

    Namco - Buggy, tiny,
    Pros;
    - Great collision detection magnifies the 'chase' and 'evade' excitement
    Cons;
    - 1/3 of the screen used - Bold users are cheated with some trash graphics at each side of the screen that are supposed to represent the old arcade cabinet. Namco could have made the user rotate the phone 90 degrees and used the whole screen.
    - No audio when munching the pips
    - graphics missing at the start of each new level - user must pause and resume to see full graphics
    - Skips and judders
    - Did i mention you need a magnifying glass?

    honestly? i have both versions installed on my Bold and find myself leaning towards Banny's version.

    If only Benny's version had more forgiving collision it would be better than Namco's.

    My Advice? dont pay Namco, get your pacman fix from Benny Chow.

    I completely agree! I hid the Namco PacMan and only play the Benny version.

    I had the Benny version and for some reason it kept causing my phone to reset???

    Once the game was deleted the problem no longer exists.

    Are there any other versions out there for the curve 8330?
