I'm trying to set up a macro to send a simultaneous key press of ctrl+a+d and can't seem to get it. I can't figure out how to put "ctrl" in the macro screen first of all, and even if I can, it sends a THEN d, not the combination.

    Thanks for any help.

Heya - the macro support released in 1.1.8 is very basic, and allows for sending of simple text only. However, I do intend to add support for special key use over the next 1 or 2 releases. It will likely using syntax like [CTRL]a d though I'm open to suggestions.

(Actually, that'd be a handy macro to have - I'm a fellow gnu screen user )

That raises a good point - were you looking to create a macro to save the extra keystoke? Or because you might not have seen the info here:

    bbssh.org/wiki/en/Keyboard_Shortcuts

(And of course, all of the shortcuts listed there can be changed/customized.)
