I DL'd BBSmart Alarms Pro tonight. I've never used my BB as an alarm before. I was wondering what those that do...do for this situation.
How do you not get woke up by text alert sounds, or early phone calls, or email alerts etc...that happen BEFORE your alarm is set to go off. I get a slew of emails around 5:00 am each morning, and I used to keep my BB on my charger in my office (at home)...not by my bed.
I DL'd BBSmart Alarms.... and I figured I could figure it out...but other than having phone turn off...I don't get it.
I created my own personal Profile, and I call it "Alarm". I turn all text and email notifications to off under that setting. So, the only sound I hear will be that of the alarm. After getting up I set my Profile back to Normal or Vibrate.

I have a silent alert tone that I use for my texts, and if someone is calling me before my alarm wakes me it is usually an emergency anyway and I NEED to answer.
