hey guys. i had a question since thier is no way to sign out of BBM, say im at school and bbm is still running, is this constantly using my data? Thanks for anyone who can answer me!

No BBM only use data when you send a message, Just think of it as SMS. Also BBM uses very little data unlike the Browser.

Texts are on average around .25kb to .50kb in size give or take. Also because RIM's servers compress all data you can expect that size to be 1/3 of the average text size in kb. So you really shouldnt worry about sending BBM messages.

Yes it will use data but not enough to use all 200mb.... I'm a heavy user & don't use anywhere near 200mb per month. I'm sure other have come close if not over but it not because of BBM or SMS only

Yea, as was said, you shouldn't have any issues with consuming too much data with BBM, 200mb is way more than enough.

Although, if your significant other is sending you lots of pictures then you might want to watch your usage.
