Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

I just got my blackberry from my employer, and I was on the Apps section of the Blackberry website and found a few apps I'd like. I'm wondering if it's possible to download them to your PC then move them to the phone using Desktop manager. That way I don't cut into my data allotment (paid by Co) for the month downloading apps.

I have a Bold 9650, and have BB Desktop mgr 6, Win XP.

    Thanks,

    Brad

You need other sources besides App World, that has the same apps, and lets you do a PC download.

How much Data do you have?
I have 500mb and use my phone all day everyday and never go over, the apps are small and should not affect your data usage significantly

    Why not use the WiFi?

With WiFi you get no data charges, a very nice option

Do you have custom service books? Will your company let you put apps and games on the phone?
