    On my main screen, it shows the little app world icon with the arrow and a red asterisk. Its in the left top corner of my screen with a 1 next to it. I can't get it off! I went to show all, and my download folder as a red asterisk, but there is nothing inside that downloaded. It's driving me crazy. I have even done 2 battery pulls.

    Check your messages folder. There will be a message in there relating to the download/update notification. Clear it to make the icon go away.
