ok so I've tried peekawho without any luck (freezes my bb up in game mode) so I decided to give bb alerts a try.

i cannot seem to add an alert. it didn't work when i sent myself a text or email. it kept flashing the standby color.

can anyone give me a run down on how to use this app?

Make sure you don't close bbalerts as it has to be running all the time to work. What version of bbalerts is is (and what bb are you using it on?)

UCSD, man i have been running into ya all morning, hahaha. Go to profiles>advanced profiles>hit menu>edit and BB Alerts should be listed, click on it and make sure that repeat notification is set to: LED flashing...

that's what i want to do too but when i set it up like that, it wouldn't do the assigned color. (well when i did the trial version)
