Anyone using Opera Mini 5 on their 9700 know and tips/tricks to load full sites? Some sites (ie. Facebook, pinstack,) are only showing up as mobile sites. I have clicked the full site link for facebook on the mobile page and it loads the full site login page then reverts back to the mobile site. Pinstack shows an old primitive looking page, not even the mobile site as it appears in the bb browser. Those are the only two that I have discovered so far, I am pretty sure there are other sites that are doing this also. The new browser performs well, I just would like to view full sites for some website.

I had the same problem with Facebook site.. OM just keep sending me to the mobile site.. It was so annoying. Then I noticed at the bottom of the page on mobile site, there is a link Touch Site. I clicked on it and see what happen... and from there, I just logged into my Facebook account which is like a Facebook app GUI.. more better than mobile site. From there, if you scroll to the bottom of that page, there is a link to Full Site... and VOILA! You're IN.

Have you changed the settings? Make sure "mobile view" is unchecked. To find the settings press the blackberry button to the left of the trackpad, scroll down until the drop menu appears and choose settings.

OM does this the disappearing text in post-replies trick....so I've been so disgusted, I've shelved OM for the default browser which I cant stand.

I am liking OM, however if it does not suit you, you could try using Bolt browser! That seems to get pretty good reviews.

I'm using .545 and I've found that in the new OS versions the native browser is quicker than OM and easier to read than Bolt.

Not really that is the common problem with opera mini.

i'd suggest trying out bolt 1.7 or the beta 2.0.

I'm done with opera until they 1) put up the beta 2.0 back up. 2) make a real browser.

I use Select Mode; it's faster to skip between fields/links than the cursor for me.
