I have an app or 2 I'm interested in buying from the appworld. I'm currently using a 8900 but I plan on getting a 9700 soon. So, if I buy an app how can I go about moving it to my new phone when I get it? I won't have to pay again will I?

Also, is there a program that will allow you to backup the programs off your blackberry and install then to another device?

    Thanks for the help.

Appworld will track your purchases using your PayPal login. Once you switch phones, you can log in to Appworld and download your apps again.

You can back up your personal data using desktop manager. You can also use DM to switch phones.
There is a way to back up apps on DM but I don't know the procedure. There is a thread that can walk you through the process but you'll have to search for it. The easiest way to back up third party apps is with bbsak(blackberry swiss army knife).
