Oddly enough the bbmaps app has a compass on it,,its that neat thing in the lower corner that looks like an arrow and has an N in it.

For those not aware the N means north.
BBmaps app will work in the woods as well. Gps works anywhere, just not much to look at but blank screen.

I can get anywhere with a prismatic compass and map.

But not everyone is trained to do so, or have the need to do so. Right?

Pretty cool app - saw the light version awhile back, but decided to wait on the full app. They did a great job with it!

Thanks for the positive comments; much appreciated.
We're working on the free upgrade to Compass right now that, among other things, will add an altitude readout similar to the max speed readout.
