OK.. i know most blackberry apps are made to work with Blackberry internet service, and service books and so on, is it possible to by-pass this and make apps work just on the apn settings?? i have an unlocked storm and the service provider does not have a blackberry plan of any kind and they dont provide service books and stuff like that how do i get all the apps to work????
I think if the phone is setup with a working data connection the apps will work. The question is whether you can get that data connection on the phone without any BIS access. I don't think its possible...that has always been the point of Blackberry, everything goes through their servers.
