There is a thread about free apps, but the require downloading to your desktop first. As a Mac owner, I have essentially ruled that out as a possibility.

I agree. If you do a thread search for OTA downloads, you should get lots of responses. Hopefully it won't happen, but you might catch a little online abuse for this post. There are some members who can be a bit harsh on folks who post duplicate threads.
