Application center is the program that shows what you have installed, plus it gives you the option to upgrade and delete the applications you have installed on your device. I would opt NOT to delete it.

Get rid of the application center. It is verizon's junk.

I'm not sure if this is possible, but if it is, I would imagine the next official software push will delete the App Center and install the App World.

that sounds about right their is no point in having both and as you can see with them pushing app world application center is soon to be a thing of the past

From what I heard, app center is provider specific where app world is by RIM. I deleted app center long ago!
