So I am sure people have noticed that when you update the blackberry OS app world doesnt pick up on the installed apps. And then you cannot see what apps have updates unless you reinstall the applications from app world. Is there a way around this disconnection issue?

    Thanks

It actually notifies you when you have an update by displaying a black round icon with an arrow pointing downward then takes you through the update process. Not sure if this answers your question...??

Did you try to login again? When you update your OS, you will need to login again, that should bring up your past downloads.

But like you said, if you reinstall your OS, and did a 3rd party back up or whatever, I do not believe appworld has a way off knowing that it is installed. I could be wrong though.

You can just login in my world and all will be restored in 20secs
Uninstalled apps finally! Delete them by pushing alt together with RST
The application will close to a restart.
