9300, latest firmware installed to try to fix issue.

last week facebook and app world were updated. i decided to update app world first. upon reboot app world showed up in the task list, but i couldn't switch to it. clicking on the icon wouldn't load it either. battery pulls won't unload it or make it run.

app world is unusable, yet is doing something because battery drain is off the scale. tried deleting and reinstalling app world with same results. removed blackberry id, and bridge to see if they were the problem. nope.

any ideas? time to roll back to the previous versiion?

I'm having a problem with appworld too but it's on my bold 9930. It's sucking up all my battery and removing it doesn't help. I feel your pain.

looked at blackberry support. seems a fix is a complete os reinstall. unacceptable in my books since it worked fine before wanting to be upgraded. should be able to roll back to a previous version, and wait for a proper fix to arrive.

and days later it finally unloaded on its own.
