i was able to download the app world with out any problems but when i try to download an actual app i keep getting that same msg.

"Blackberry app world is having trouble connecting to blackberry app world server. Verify your network connections and try again."

everything else on my bold seems to be working fine sms, email, web browser all good.

any suggestions ?

Apparently they're having problems for some reason (due to high traffic volume says the conventional wisdom here).
