    I just received a new Rogers 9700 today and so far I'm loving it. Upgraded to .862 from the stock Rogers software, but i'm having an error with App World (was the same with rogers stock software).

    It's not showing up on the phone, so when I goto the website and try to download, it asks me if I want to upgrade from 1.xxx to 2.xxx so I say upgrade, then get a 909 Application Auth. Error.

    It's been a while since I've used a BB (Just got rid of my 3GS yay!) so I'm kind of lost.

    Do you have a data plan?

    Have you talked to rogers customer/tech support yet?

    I called rogers and had my data plan switched to a BB plan (just now, didnt realise there was a difference), got a message from BB saying my phone was activated with the network, but I still get the error.

    I think, for some reason, the phone believes it's setup for BES, not BIS.
