Are you looking in the download folder? Generally that's where it is until you move it (at least mine was)

Hi, I have the same problem as above, I have tried wiping my phone, the network has resent service books to my device but still nothing, I tried to manually install the facebook application via the desktop software and it won't show either? I was advised to roll back the OS but I don't get the "previous" option when I click update on my desktop manager.
When I try to log in through the email setup menu to resend servicee books it keeps giving me an invalid username/password message but when I use the same log in details on the blackberry app world website from my computer it works?
Very confused here and a newbie Blackberry user, please help!

A friend of mine is having the same issue on a bold 9700.

    Procedures I have advised:
    Battery pulls
    Show all
Browser and download manually from BlackBerry App World and replace
Options > Applications > Delete Appworld from there, reboot, reinstall

    Still not showing...

The update to 2.1.2.15 that was pushed to mine and installed Thursday (I think) has also lost the icon

It's literally nowhere to be found, even though it shows up in the Applications menu as the .15 version. Will we be waiting on a .16 update to get the icon back?

This just happened to me WTF? I got an error during the install then it froze when I tried to open the message from appworld to upgrade so I reset my bb and now there is no icon.

I could be wrong, but I thought the latest update to 2.1.2.19 specifically addressed this issue.

I just had the same problem with the new app world update on my Bold 9650 running OS6. I updated it the moment I received notification. After the device rebooted, app world wasn't there. I check the service books and it's there, it is also listed under device applications. I cannot find it by using "show all" or in any folder.

    Grumble grumble grumble..

2.19 is the update that refuses to show the app, at least on my device.

Oh at least I am not alone. I used universal search also to find if its available anywhere, but no use, its not there.

I had a similar fix. Deleted the no-icon version and reinstalled from the web via BlackBerry's site. Presto-Changeo! Icon!

That's what I did, too. Uninstalled using the Options> Device > Application Management tool, rebooted, then reinstalled from the web, and now my icon is back.
