1) Slow!
2) Wastes lots of screen real-estate.
3) I preferred the previous showcased apps browser vs the new one.
4) Doesn't look as sharp as V2 App World.
In general, a step backwards if you ask me. Why is there a big 'Payment Option' button on the main page? It is in the BB menu key and that should be good enough. Some new interface designer got their grubby hands on the app and now it looks and operates terrible.
yea, thats what I meant with slower. Not just a little bit, I get the loading icon thing a lot now when it was barely there before. Don't see why they had to change it

Maybe I just need to reboot again, or do a battery pull. I can't seem to get the back open though LOL. I ask my sister to do it for me, I can't for the life of me open the back.. :')

Ive been running the beta version for the past couple of weeks, first on my 9780 then on my 9900 and its been smooth as silk for me...no issues with updates or accessing it.
Not a fan of it tbh, dont like the layout but its functional i find...just takes time getting used to it i suppose.
I think the BIS servers are having problems. Me and a friend are trying to download App World 3.0 and the install keeps crashing saying it can't connect to the server. My wireless connection is full bars, I have the BB BIS icon in the upper corner next to the signal strength icon, but my BBMs arent being sent. Were both getting this.... and I just talked to my brother at work and he says the same for him. Anybody else?
LOL The most I've gotten it to download before crashing is 666kb.... is it an omen?
Got mine up and running fine. I actually like it. The other one was plain and simple and worked fine, which is what people want, but this one actually looks great. It'll take awhile to get use to navigating but I think overall presentation of apps is much better, especially if you are new to BB or coming from a different OS.
i did DLed it two days ago, all is up and running, love all new look, but this evening is slow, i think problem on servers side, so do not rush to downgrade or delete it, just wait for a few days
I updated to 3.0, but today when I tried to go to app world, I have been getting the message "Unable to connect to the BB App World servers. Make sure you are connected to the network", I have had no other data issues besides this.
Anyone else having the same problem or have a fix?
