I had to restore my BB to 5.x.x.422. I also setup my gmail account through the service provider BIS website. So now I can receive my gmail. This version of the BB OS also comes with the "Enhanced Gmail Plug-In" so I can see all the features that come with this plug-in.
However, I am having an issue where when I go to another application I cannot switch back to the gmail application. Holding the menu key to reveal the applications opened list selector I don't see the gmail mail icon.
I also have yahoo mail setup and same thing - when I go to another application and try to switch back to yahoo mail - there is no mail icon in the application switcher list.
This has worked before on my device. I can only see the "Messages" icon in the application switcher list - which just takes me to the view of viewing all messages from gmail, yahoo, sms, etc.
