    Is there an app that can quickly toggle from 3g to 2 g on 9700?

    I don't need to be on 3g all the time, just when I am not working or not at my desk and I'd like to reserve as much battery power as possible.

    Thoughts?

    2. As far as I know AT&T locks their users to only using 3G. (correct me if I'm wrong)

    Does it really make a difference in battery life? Especially if you have apps that run in the background, for example a weather app.
