A simple speedometer with trip odometer and possible heading ie NSEW. I don't need fancy gui. Also I want it to take snapshots when I click the screen as a jpg and or .txt. It would be great for ppl like my dad to configure speedometers on cars and idiots like me who want to record landspeed. It would be easy for the snapshot to include my location with long/lat coordinates. If someone knows of something I can use in the meantime that would be nice.

i believe Handango had a couple of speedometer and tripometer apps for blackberrys. Not sure how many are compatible with the storm but there is one that tells you speed based on the gps chip.
