There's an app on lots of non-BB devices called Quick Text (or something similar). The app allows for users to add commonly-texted messages and interfaces directly with the SMS feature. When you open a new SMS, the app gives you the option of adding a pre-written message into the msg field.

I used to use that feature a lot - and kinda miss it.

I'm not a programmer - and based on some of the complaints some developers have had with integrating some features into BB, I'm not even sure it's possible.

Any ideas ??

Exactly what I did! They are also not limited to SMS... Even in email, when I type cmw and hit space, the device turns it into "Call me when you get a chance." One of the BEST features of the phone, as Quick Text was so limited... They only gave you a few, some couldn't be edited and you have to pick from a list... With autotext you have control... ily = I love you or whatever....
