my boss just called and said that on the tour there is a clock/stopwatch app or somethign like that. his son races gokarts and he wanted to use that app for the stopwatch as he like the way it looks. is it possible to run those on the curve? and if so where could i get it. thanks! im new here sorry if in the wrong catagory
That comes with os 5.0 which only works on 8330 and up (96mbs) of memory. If he has one it is not official but a hybrid and you can get more info in links in my sig...
ok i see....i have a 8300 and i did a fresh os install when i got mine. i only have like 17 megs free most of the time. i did the free up mem steps on this site and had like 25 and now its back down to like 17 is there any hybrid os for the 8300? which would be smaller i only have like 2 apps on mine facebook and pandora....anyway thanks for the quick reply! im new to the bb scene so pardon my questions
You can trim it down some have tried on 8310 and 8320 but i THINK IT USES TOO MUCH MEMORY AND BOGS THEM DOWN... Be patient and they may release one for you or upgrade...sorry for the caps..
