Do I need memo pad, password keeper, and tasks on the tour or can I delete them safely to free up even more room?
I never use slacker or pandora so I just deleted them but it didnt give much back really. I was suprised.

You can delete those applications with no problems.
The reason that deleting Slacker and Pandora didn't free up much space is that those icons were merely launchers and not the full applications. Since they are pushed by your carrier, don't be surprised if they come back. In that case, just hide the icons and forget about them.
