    Is there an app to backup the activation code and settings of 3rd party apps?

    There is not an app, but some apps are now backing up some information and settings onto the SD Card... like BerryWeather and BerryBuzz... but I don't believe that includes activation codes... I just keep a spreadsheet on my PC's desktop.
