I have been trying to figure out how to run the AP Mobile alerts for breaking news and have got no luck. Not to mention the battery drain if I try to leave it open. Does this app work for anyone else?

What I have been thinking is there must be some place the app fetches or gets pushed the breaking news... so is there a way for the news to be converted to RSS? (thinking BBNews with alerts)

Or is there a better solution for a ScoreMobile type Breaking News for Android only function? (And if the app doesn't exist someone should make one.)

The app does not work for me either. You cannot configure news alerts. I emailed support with very specific questions, and got a very automated looking reply linking to their FAQs for BB users, which I had already read. I deleted the app shortly thereafter.
