I'm really not digging the way notifications work in the new Facebook 1.8. Is there anyplace I can download the old 1.7.0.22 version? I cant find it anywhere.

@haymond - That jad dosent work. When I put it on my BB and try to download it it just errors out.

@yehrulz - The way it used to work for me in 1.7 was the email notification would come through to my gmail account but get moved to deleted items and then I would get the notification through the FB app. Now, I still get notifications in the FB app, but sometimes I dont get the email at all and sometimes I get the email but it just sits in my inbox. I liked the way it worked in 1.7 better.

Thanks! That did the trick! I was trying to install the jad by loading it on my BB. Clicking the link from the BB browser worked perfectly!

Me too please, I haven't received a single notification since upgrading to 1.8 and I've tried every method on the web!

can someone just post the link for facebook 1.7... a lot of us have had problems with 1.8 and wanna downgrade but can't find a link...
