I've tried on two occasions to delete it from my phone. Every time I click the checkbox in DM, it goes away and then checks again automatically. Slacker is evil!

Delete it from the device itself.

Options>advanced options>applications. Highlight it and delete it.

Also delete any residuals that it leaves on your memory card.

I deleted on the device, and then the next time you are connected to the desktop, delete the slacker files from the SIM card. the one that threw me here was the auto something or other that didnt necessarily appear to be a slacker file.
